Got stuck up a hill and went in a ditch...

I love the snow and hate the conditions that are dealing with it. Took over two hours to get home, but I had to abandon my car and walk from the hill after the light after you cross the bridge for Alexander Co. and walk to Freds to meet my mom and brother. I only got two and something hrs. of work yesterday and put the rest under personal time. It was sliding all the way and watching out for everyone else too. So, when I was trying to get up the steep hill in Bethlehem...the little kia that could just couldn't. It was crazy since all the idiots were trying to pass all the people who were sliding. So, this morning around seven we triedto go after my car....no luck getting up the hill out of our development. My brother and I walked all the way from my house-all the way to try to get my car out.

It took almost two hours, but it was worth it! This very nice guy who saw me last night helped pull me out today. Alexander county needs to plow the back roads...that is where alot of trouble is right now.  In the morning I have to go to work-I'm hoping that I can get up that hill when it starts to refreeze tonight.

It was very beautiful and I'm glad we got some snow this year.

I am SOOOOOO HAPPY that you are okay......Don't scare me like that. If I could have made it down there I would have helped you but as it was I am currently snowed in here and I have the Rav4 that could (front two tires are kinda bald and thats the cause of the problem). STAY SAFE!!!! You and Barbra.

I ended up walking to a motel with some people at work and staying the night. By the time I left this morning, the roads were pretty good. Actually, Alexander county does a lot better job clearing the roads than Catawba county. Mom said that they couldn't get all the backroads because it wasn't in the budget.

Well, Alexander Co. had my car stuck worst than it was, but the guy pulled me out-it was weird seeing the little Kia dragged without me to lead it the right way.

My roads are still bad, but I'm hoping by in the mornin' that the sun will be out to melt this stuff.

Kathy stay safe and be careful if you have to go out in it. I know the feelin' of bald tires...I think out of all my family we burnt some rubber today. LOL.

They still had the major roads cleared much faster than Catawba county.

And I'm not Kathy. ^_^

LOL! I know Barbara-chan. Kathy replied to the post too. But if we get anymore...both of you be safe when driving.

Let me know when you want to do Christmas. We can do it on the 1st after 4pm or When we go to Concord for the anime convention. I will let you girls decide. Sunday 27th I have off.

If its in Janurary we have to wait to see what Chris' schedule is. However he did say that the convention would be a good time to exchange gifts if thats okay with everyone else.
